Architecting a Multi-Portal Supply Chain & Inventory Engine for EGO (UK)

Executive Impact Snapshot

Project Scope

End-to-end bespoke enterprise web application tailored for a UK-based logistics and supply chain client.

Operational Efficiency

Unified five distinct stakeholder groups (Admins, Clients, Sellers, Buyers, and Carriers) into a single, real-time ecosystem.

Core Capabilities

Advanced stock auditing, pipeline management, inbound/outbound NR routing, and secure digital carrier sign.

Technology Security

High-security PHP and MySQL architecture engineered for strict data isolation and enterprise-grade performance.

The Operational Challenge :
Supply Chain Fragmentation

In the complex supply chain and asset recovery industry, the greatest threat to profitability is fragmented communication. Our UK-based client, EGO, was managing a highly intricate operational pipeline involving multiple independent stakeholders: the internal administrative team, corporate clients, product sellers, end-buyers, and logistics carriers.

Managing the flow of inventory—specifically tracking inbound and outbound products, categorising stock, and executing accurate stock audits—requires absolute precision. Relying on disjointed systems or manual data entry for these processes leads to stock discrepancies, delayed logistics, and a lack of transparency for the end client.

A significant bottleneck was the logistics handover. Relying on physical paperwork for carrier sign-offs meant that EGO’s admin team often waited days to verify that a client’s process was completed. EGO required a centralised, bespoke web application capable of handling immense data depth while providing tailored, secure access to every single party in the supply chain.

The Strategy: A Unified, Role-Based Digital Ecosystem

Travash engineered a comprehensive, custom-built enterprise web application designed to act as the central nervous system for EGO’s entire operation.
Rather than building a single interface, we mapped out a multi-portal architecture.

Each user type—Admin, Client, Buyer, and Seller—required a dedicated environment with strict role-based access controls (RBAC) to ensure they only interacted with data relevant to their specific operational pipeline.

Crucially, we completely digitised the logistics handover by introducing a frictionless, web-based e-signature workflow for carriers, eliminating paper trails and instantly syncing delivery data with the master database.

Step-by-Step Solution Architecture

The platform was designed for real-time synchronization, ensuring that an action taken by a carrier in the field instantly updates the dashboard of a client in the office and the EGO admin managing the pipeline.

Unified Complaint Ingestion

The system aggregates fraud reports from multiple national sources, including the Cybercrime Portal and the 1930 Helpline. This creates a single source of truth for every reported crime.

Instant "Lien" (Account Freeze) Execution

When a fraud is verified via a Crime ID, the portal uses APIs to instantly send a request to the receiving bank to place a "Lien" (a hold) on the disputed amount. This freezes the fraudster's account and prevents the money from being transferred or withdrawn via ATM, POS, or Cheque.

AI-Driven Bank Performance & Failure Monitoring

To ensure banks are processing these freeze requests immediately, the dashboard provides real-time transaction metrics and bank performance tracking. The AI analyzes failure trends per hour—such as "Service Unavailable" or "Invalid RRN"—allowing the government's technical team to instantly spot and fix integration issues with specific banks.

Granular Auditing & Reporting

The system features deep reporting tools that allow officials to filter data by date ranges, specific banks, and crime IDs. This provides a transparent, auditable trail of total transactions sent, acknowledged, successfully frozen, and ultimately returned to the citizen.

Enterprise Technology Stack

Building a system that connects a national government to the entire country's banking infrastructure requires absolute security and high availability.

Backend Architecture

High-performance, secure backend logic designed to handle massive volumes of concurrent API requests to national banks.

AI & Analytics Engine

Advanced monitoring algorithms to analyze transaction success rates, categorize failure reasons, and predict technical bottlenecks in real-time.

Frontend Interface

A highly intuitive, data-rich dashboard designed for government officials to easily filter, export, and act upon critical financial data without technical friction.

Security Protocols

Military-grade encryption and strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) to ensure sensitive financial and citizen data remains absolutely secure.

The Digital Transformation Impact

The deployment of the custom EGO web application fundamentally modernised our client’s operations. By replacing fragmented communications with a centralised, role-based platform, Travash delivered a system where:

Total Transparency

Clients, Buyers, and Sellers now have real-time visibility into their specific pipelines, drastically reducing inbound customer service queries.

Inventory Precision

The advanced NR product categorisation and stock audit modules eliminated inventory guesswork and data discrepancies.

Logistics Velocity

The innovative Carrier Web Page transformed a slow, paper-based handover into an instant, digitally signed workflow, accelerating the entire supply chain lifecycle.
